In March 2012, SLOCOG initiated a BRT Applications Study for the US 101 Corridor. Paid for with a Federal Transit Administration grant, the project goals include:
Streamline and improve the quality of transit service in San Luis Obispo County
Develop strategies to attract new transit riders
Identify the most cost-effective transit improvements that can be implemented along the US 101 corridor
