The San Luis Obispo Council of Governments is soliciting proposals from consulting firms to develop a Regional Deficiency Analysis and NEXUS Study based on the Regional Traffic Model for the San Luis Obispo Region. The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate anticipated development activities in the region and its effects on the performance of the regional roadway system. Deficiencies will be identified, and necessary improvements to provide adequate levels of service will be recommended. These recommendations will be used for future planning exercises in the region, and as the basis to develop a development impact fee system for the region.
