Bikes
SLOCOG supports and promoted bicycling as a viable transportation choice. SLOCOG staff attend Bicycle Advisory Committees in San Luis Obispo and SLO County. SLOCOG staff also review and advise jurisdictions on approval of BTA elligible Bicycle Plans. The links below will take you to each jurisdiction's approved bike plan. The Cities of Morro Bay and Arroyo Grande do not currently have bike plans, but both are under development.
Bus
SLOCOG works with all transit providers to coordinate services. The Transit Operators Group is an Ad Hoc committee of transit operators, contractors, and SLOCOG staff. Coordinating projects include the Coordinated Human Services Public Transportation Plan, the Region Wide Fare Improvement Study, and the Long Range Transit Plan. Visit the Transit Planning webpage for more information here.
Rail
SLOCOG coordinates and prepares agendas for the Coast Rail Coordinating Council (CRCC). The purpose of the CRCC is to improve the frequency and speed of passenger trains on the coast route between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
