Regional Reference Maps
These maps contain the information that is used in our regional growth model.

Regional Base Map
This map identifies state and federally owned lands,
conservation easement areas, utility facilities areas,
as well as urban areas, lakes and reservoirs, and
roads.
Air Pollution Sources
This map identifies Air Pollution Control District defined
areas that are unsuitable for residential development
based on air pollution emissions.
FEMA Flood Zones
This map identifies Federal Emergency Management
Area (FEMA) defined 100-year and 500-yr flood zone
areas.
Important Farmland
This map identifies CA Dept of Conservation, Division
of Land Resource Protection, Farmland Mapping and
Monitoring Program Important Farmland Areas. These
areas are defined as Prime Farmland, Farmland of
Statewide Importance, Unique Farmland and Farmland
of Local Importance.
Natural Diversity Database
This map identifies the CA Department of Fish & Game
Natural Diversity Database (NDDB) areas. The NDDB
inventories the status and locations of rare plants and
animals in California.
Oak Woodlands
This map identifies the CA Dept of Forestry and Fire
Protection , Forest and Rangeland Resources
Assessment extent of hardwoods.
